Obviously the world can’t get enough of Lily Collins. One of my favorite bands M83 recently shot an MTV Supervideo for their song “Claudia Lewis” directed by Bryce Dallas Howard starring some big teen names like Lily Collins (City of Bones), Israel Broussard (The Bling Ring), and Ashley Rickards (Awkward). And I adore it.

 

If any of you remember the music video, or Supervideo if you will, for Best Coast’s song “Our Deal” it was very star-studded and directed by Drew Berrymore. Basically the premise of these Supervideos is to make a short film set to the music, “homages to what we think great music videos were in the past” according to executive producer Kashi Khaledi. This video is no different, managing to create an engaging storyline and characters in just under 5 minutes.

 

In “Claudia Lewis”, Lily Collins is an alien sent down from space to observe humans. And what better way to observe them than in their most vulnerable environment: high school. There she meets Israel Broussard’s character who becomes her love interest. Israel is so adorable, he even admitted that this music video was his first on-screen kiss.
