The show may be over, but Chuck Bass still holds my heart. After one fateful (and couch potato-esque) Christmas break, Gossip Girl ruined my life. Here's how.

This summer I got a job at a large unnamed retail store. While I once told my friends “if I could marry a store, I’d marry this one” the store and I have a much different relationship now that I’ve experienced how it all runs.

Vampires in today’s society might be overpopulated to say the least, but let’s just take a second to appreciate how gosh darn attractive they are. Seriously, hot dayum

I tend to go through phases where I find a song I like and then I’ll listen to it on repeat for weeks until I get sick of it, then rediscover it later and love it all over again.

I recently finished the encumbering task of weeding through and re-organizing my closet. I got rid of 30+ things that I either never wear or have been wearing since high school that I’ll be taking to Goodwill. I found shirts that I’ve been wearing from five years ago…I think it’s safe to say it’s time to revamp my wardrobe.

This past April, a crime novel titled The Cuckoo’s Calling was released by a debut author, Robert Galbraith. It has recently come to light that the piece was not in fact written by Mr. Galbraith, and it definitely wasn’t written by a new author.

Well. Seeing as my nerdy side usually conquers all others, this fine day has been spent sifting through Comic Con panels of my favorite movies and TV shows. There are probably too many to list here that I am looking forward to, so I’ll stick to four: Divergent, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, Catching Fire, and The Vampire Diaries.

It’s been a solid two months since the series finale of The Office and I’m still struggling to come to terms with that fact. In the process of my denial, I’ve compiled a list of the things I miss most from the show and, I’m betting you do too.

I’m not going to lie—most of my musical discoveries start from a random instrumental portion of a song featured in a movie that I quickly Shazam from the theater. But today I’m talking about my favorite songs from my home theater: the best TV playlist of 2013.

Grace Helbig of DailyGrace is a comedic goddess who is climbing up the YouTube popularity ladder. With 1.7 million subscribers and being named the Streamy’s Personality of the Year, there are too many reasons why I’d love to be her. I’ve managed to narrowed it down to ten.

For all of the incoming college freshmen (and nostalgic freshmen) these phases in life will most likely happen to you. So why not take a glimpse into your future before you take that leap into quasi-adulthood?

My Twitter and Facebook feeds have been abuzz the last few days over the Princeton Review ranking the University of Iowa as the #1 party school in the country.  But with the buzz about our party status, many people lose sight of (or simply overlook) the fact that Iowa has so much more to offer than bar crawls and house parties.

I have never been a huge talk show fan, but I love Ellen DeGeneres and her show. I always have, and I always will. I think if I could be anybody other than myself, it would be her.

This summer continues drawing closer to its end, and the impending arrival of fall feels a little bittersweet. Luckily, there are a lot of really exciting movies set to be released in the next few months that will no doubt tempt my very limited free time once school starts.

This summer I started watching Amy Pohler’s hilarious show Parks and Recreation. While I never thought a show could fill the comedy love of my life like The Office, Parks and Rec has slowly found its way into my heart. Here are a few things I’ve learned from the show.

If you’d asked me a year ago if I’d be writing this, I’d have told you “you’re crazy”. I’d always looked at sororities and immediately determined that it wouldn’t be “my thing” without much thought into what it actually entails.. But I couldn’t have been more wrong.

On an average Tuesday, you can find me watching the previous night’s episode of Teen Wolf, and tweeting about the unholy things I would do to Dylan O’Brien if given the opportunity. Today, I was in the middle of doing just that when I realized I have a long history of developing unhealthy crushes on fictional, male characters. Some girls have a list of school boy crushes; I have a list of TV heartthrobs.
